  32. The 133 is at the top of the food chain right now, so *I* wouldn't buy 
  33. one unless I had a project lined up to pay for it.  Dealers want to make 
  34. the most money off the "top" sytems because they can hype them as such. 
  35. The PentiumPro (formerly the P6) is coming up soon along with the Cyrix 
  36. series and Pentiums operating in the 150-180MHz range.  As all of this is
  37. supposed to happen in under 6 months.  So basically you could wind up paying 
  38. top-of-the-line style prices today for a machine that will not be the top 
  39. in a few months.

  41. I know - you can always play the "waiting game" and something better will 
  42. come along, I just think we're nearing another (brief) plateau in 
  43. processors.  Your 133MHz will be a great machine and a lot cheaper once 
  44. the new "top end" systems appear on the market.  On the other hand, the 
  45. graphics cards are good, solid and here now - I would also recommend 
  46. going with the card upgrade, getting a low P# on a motherboard that can 
  47. be upgraded (~150 MHz or so) later and that can handle EDO RAM.

  53. If you mean Pipeline Burst Cache vs "regular", then the jury may still be 
  54. out.  PC Week (can't remember exactly, but within a couple months) said 
  55. they couldn't see any performance enhancement.
